Physical Therapy can be used to treat a range of diseases, including dysfunction of the vestibular system (the inner ear, eyes and brain), which present with symptoms like dizziness.  Vestibular rehabilitation can treat vertigo with more than a 90% success rate.  Vertigo is the sensation of spinning or movement while stationary. It is commonly associated with a spinning sensation, light-headedness, nausea or vomiting, unsteadiness, falls and difficulty walking. There are many causes of vertigo, your MD and Physical Therapist are trained to identify the cause.
